[Concerning the rank of the Saints, the Esotericist, the feeling of Security and Despair, the diviner, the Non-Existent, and prayers for the dead]

وَاْسْتِحْلَالُ المَعْصِيَةِ وَالاسْتِهَانَةُ بِهَا كُفْرٌ وَالاسْتِهْزَاءُ عَلَى الشَّرِيعَةِ كُفْرٌ، وَالْيَأْسُ مِنْ رحمةِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى كُفْرٌ، وَالأَمْنُ مِنْ عَذَابِ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى كُفْرٌ.

045- The making of disobedience lawful (istiḥlāl) is unbelief and making light of disobedience and ridicule of the Law (sharīʾa) are unbelief (kufr). And despair (yaʾs) of God is unbelief and feeling secure (āmn) from God is unbelief.
