What personal data we collect and why we collect it
Simply put we are not interested in your personal information. We don’t collect it, we don’t need it and frankly we have better things to do with our time. We are interested in scholarly (hitting the books scholarly! and burning the midnight oil) study and sharing the results of our search hopefully for the betterment of any one willing to read.
Comments
Currently comment feature is turned off. Knowledge sharing yes, useless comments no!
Media
If you upload images ( currently this feature is turned off) to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. So don’t do stupid!
Contact forms
Yes I am planning (without being specific sometime around Sunday, June 30 2030 at 12:00 GMT) on having those as a way to contact us and we avoid spam email, the scourge of humanity, a modern plague. So be careful and cautious of what you send to anyone and especially to us. But so far there’s not much of reason to.

See above about comments. So far its disabled. So for the time being I am not accepting any comments. In the future if you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. (wow!) these things don’t die do they?

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment (currently this feature is disabled), the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely till I delete it and I try to do so on regular basis. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any, currently this feature is disabled), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account (currently this feature is disabled) on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
