Translations of the al-ʿaqaīda al-Nasafiyya

There are many printed editions of Nasafi’s creed (al-ʿaqaīda al-Nasafiyya) in circulation for as soon as it was released it was widely circulated therefore a discussion of the many published editions of this work is in order. This work continued to be popular into the modern period even as soon as Modern Arabic printing using moveable metal type started this was one of the early printed texts where in 1843 the Rev. Curton published it. As we mentioned elsewhere it was commented on by many authors. The most popular and widely circulated commentary is by Saʿd al-dīn al-Taftāzānī simply titled Sharḥ al-ʿaqāʾida al-Nasafiyya (commentary on Nasafi’s creed). Since it was published it has attracted attention of academics to not only study but to translate it as well. Below is a selection of the few available translations.
